The garden restaurant of Palacio Tangara, an Oetker Collection hotel on the edge of Parque Burle Marx, with tables on a lawn terrace under the trees, live music through the day and a Mediterranean menu of pizzas, feijoada and brunch.
Why it made the list
It is the hotel's designated pet-friendly restaurant, so a dog on the terrace is an expected guest rather than a negotiation at the door.
Good to know before you go
The restaurant's official page calls Pateo do Palacio its pet-friendly restaurant and lists 'Pets: we accept dogs - ask about availability', so the terrace table has to be requested when booking. This is an outdoor arrangement; do not assume access to the indoor dining room. Source: the oetkerhotels.com page for Pateo do Palacio. Confidence: medium-high.
Practical notes
Reserve and say you are bringing a dog; availability is confirmed case by case.
Saturday feijoada and Sunday brunch are the busiest services – book early or come mid-afternoon.
