Listed honestly, free of charge
If you own or run one of the places in this directory, this page is for you. Being listed costs you nothing, and nothing here is for sale. We would rather show your venue accurately — with your own photograph — than guess at it.
Three things you should know
- Being listed is free. We do not charge to include, keep or rank a venue. There is no tier to buy, and no one can pay to appear higher.
- Your photograph is free to send, and you keep the credit. If you own or run the place, a photo you took is yours to give, and we publish it with your name on it.
- We never take a commission. No advertising, no sponsorship, no affiliate links. If someone asks you to pay to be on Big Happy, it is not us.
Send us your photograph
A real photograph of your venue is the single most useful thing you can give us. It replaces the plain placeholder with something travellers can actually recognise, and it is accurate in a way no stock image can be.
- Take or choose a clear photo you own — the entrance, the room, the terrace, wherever pets actually go.
- Send it through the contact form (choose “Suggest a photograph” and name the place) or by email.
- We check it is your venue and add it, credited to you.
You keep the copyright and the credit, and you can ask us to update or take it down at any time.
What we do with a photo
- We publish it with your credit and, if you like, a link to your venue’s own site.
- We use it only to illustrate your listing. Nothing else.
- We never publish invented or AI-generated images of places — if we have no verified photo, the listing shows a plain placeholder.
Correct or remove a listing
Policies change. If your hours, pet policy, fees or rules have moved on, tell us and we will fix the listing — every page carries a Report an error link, and we re-check the source before changing anything. If you would rather not be listed at all, write to us and we will take the listing down.
