Wonderful Nature Village

$ · BudgetOff-leash permitted

A large outdoor complex next to Tokyo Summerland with some of Tokyo's biggest dog runs (split by dog size), a seasonal dog pool, a wood-chip hiking course, BBQ areas and dog-friendly cafe restaurant AZEKIRI. Campers can stay overnight at lakeside and hilltop auto-camp fields with their dogs.

Why it made the list

The most complete day-trip or overnight dog outdoor complex inside Tokyo, combining runs, pool, hiking and camping.

Good to know before you go

Verified on the official site and operator (Tokyo Summerland) information: entry requires a current rabies vaccination certificate and a combined (3+ strain) vaccination certificate, both within one year — without both, dogs are not admitted. Admission is ¥850 per adult and ¥850 for the first dog, with the dog pool charged separately (~¥2,500) and Thursday closures.

Practical notes

  • Carry both vaccination certificates or your dog will be turned away at the gate
  • Use the on-site dryer booths (¥100 per 5 min) after the dog pool
