Tin Shed Garden Cafe
A long-running brunch cafe on NE Alberta with a corrugated-metal front and a covered, heated garden patio. Biscuits and gravy, potato cakes, scrambles and mimosas, and it keeps a dog menu alongside the human one.

The thirty-mile Wildwood Trail is the spine of Forest Park, the largest urban forest in the United States and a designated National Recreation Trail. It runs from the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington Park north through Douglas fir, big-leaf maple and creek crossings, linking more than eighty miles of trail.
An in-city wilderness where a leashed dog can log real mileage, with forty-odd free trailheads and no need to drive out of Portland.
City code requires dogs to be leashed throughout Forest Park, and owners must pack out all waste rather than leaving bags beside the trail. Parking is free at the access points, including Lower Macleay Park and the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. The trail is muddy for much of the year. Details come from Portland Parks & Recreation.
The pet policy above is summarised from the venue’s own published information and cross-checked against public listings. Policies change without notice anyway, so confirm the current one with the venue before you travel, and keep your dog leashed anywhere that is not a signed off-leash area. Read the full disclaimer.
