Lucky Labrador Brew Pub — Hawthorne

$$ · ModerateLeashed only

Portland's original Lucky Labrador brewpub, in an old timbered warehouse on SE Hawthorne. It brews its own beer — Off Leash Pilsner among them — heated with solar water, and serves plain, cheap pub sandwiches and pizza to a bike-friendly crowd.

Why it made the list

A genuine Portland dog institution: the business states plainly that dogs are welcome on the patios, and every Lucky Lab location follows the same rule.

Good to know before you go

Dogs are welcome on the outdoor patios only, service animals excepted, and must be leashed. No fee. There is no table service — order at the bar. Hours vary between sources, so confirm before a late visit; the dog policy comes from the business's own listing description.

Practical notes

  • Pick a mild day — the patio is the only dog space.
  • Parking is tight; the bus and bike racks are the easier route.

What is available on site

  • Water bowls
  • Step-free access

House rules and verification

The pet policy above is summarised from the venue’s own published information and cross-checked against public listings. Policies change without notice anyway, so confirm the current one with the venue before you travel, and keep your dog leashed anywhere that is not a signed off-leash area. Read the full disclaimer.
