Vaulted Oak Brewing

$$ · ModerateLeashed only

A neighborhood brewery opened in 2021 inside a refurbished former bank building in East Charlotte, pouring 10-12 house-made beers plus seltzer, cider, and wine. The brewery describes its large patio and outdoor space as welcoming to its notably family- and dog-friendly clientele, and hosts Dogtoberfest-style dog events. Food trucks rotate Wednesday through Sunday.

Why it made the list

The big outdoor space, rotating food trucks, and a clientele that brings dogs constantly make it the easiest dog-afternoon beer stop in East Charlotte.

Good to know before you go

The brewery's own website highlights its dog-friendly, family-friendly atmosphere and large patio; leashed dogs belong on the patio and outdoor areas. Hours are posted as Mon-Thu 2-10 pm, Fri-Sun 12-10 pm on vaultedoakbrewing.com.

Practical notes

  • Check the food truck schedule before you go - there's no on-site kitchen.
  • Dog-themed events like their Dogtoberfest adoption days are worth planning around.
