An Italian trattoria near Tachikawa Station that welcomes dogs not only on the terrace but inside the dining room, popular for dog birthday celebrations. Dogs must stay leashed or hooked on lead hooks and rest on the owner's lap or their own mat.
Why it made the list
A genuinely indoor dog-friendly Italian restaurant in western Tokyo where whole families, dogs included, can eat together.
Good to know before you go
Per the restaurant's official site, house rules require dogs to be fixed on a lead or lead-hook, wear a manners belt (pants), stay on the owner's lap or a mat, and use the restaurant's own dog dishes. Dogs must not bark at, threaten, or lick tables, and dog carts occupying a seat incur an extra charge. Hours were not published in the material reviewed.
Practical notes
Bring or buy a mat on-site — dogs must stay off the floor

A two-floor cafe from the anea group, with pancakes, lunch plates and a full drinks list under the motto 'a place to come home to before home'. It states that dogs are welcome to dine alongside their owners, and it cooks for them: dog meals and made-to-order dog portrait cakes.
The largest dog run in Tokyo: about 3,620 square metres inside Yoyogi Park, split into three fenced zones by the dog's weight and ringed by trees. The rest of the 54-hectare park is a leashed walk, managed by the Tokyo Metropolitan Park Association.
