Pink House Boutique Hotel
$$$ · Upscale·Leashed only
Pink House is a small boutique hotel in Adjiriganor, east Accra, with 13 rooms and suites, a garden, outdoor pool and a chef serving locally inspired breakfasts and dinners. The group also runs a beach lodge on Ghana's western coast.
Why it made the list
A walled garden and pool terrace give a dog somewhere to stretch between outings, and the small room count means staff can actually consider a request.
Good to know before you go
Pink House's own site covers rooms, pool and gardens but publishes no pet policy. Third-party pet listings say dogs are accepted only by prior arrangement, which is how most Accra boutique hotels work; get written confirmation and ask about a cleaning fee. Do not assume poolside or restaurant access. Policy unverified - confidence low.
Practical notes
Email before booking and get pet approval in writing.
Ask which ground-floor rooms have direct garden access.

House rules and verification
The pet policy above is summarised from the venue’s own published information and cross-checked against public listings. Last checked: against the source on . Policies change without notice anyway, so confirm the current one with the venue before you travel, and keep your dog leashed anywhere that is not a signed off-leash area. Read the full disclaimer.
Laboma Beach Resort runs a long private stretch on La-Teshie Road, minutes from Labadi, with paid entry, thatched cabanas, a poolside bar and dozens of independent food and drink vendors. Weekends bring horse racing, quad bikes and live music.
Big Milly's Backyard is a beachfront backpacker compound in the fishing village of Kokrobite, with simple rooms from GHS 165, a campsite, pool, restaurant-bar and surf school. Live bands fill the garden at weekends.
Aburi Botanical Gardens covers 64 hectares on the Akuapem ridge about 28 km north of Accra, laid out in 1890 with royal palm avenues, an orchid house and a huge silk-cotton tree. The ridge runs several degrees cooler than the coast and is popular for picnics and birding.
