Laboma Beach Resort runs a long private stretch on La-Teshie Road, minutes from Labadi, with paid entry, thatched cabanas, a poolside bar and dozens of independent food and drink vendors. Weekends bring horse racing, quad bikes and live music.
Paid entry and a wide, relatively clean beach give a leashed dog space at the quieter northern end, away from the bar clusters.
The resort's own site confirms the La-Teshie Road address and a GHS 50 entry fee but publishes no pet policy; gate staff decide. Some visitor reports mention bringing pets, and local pet guides claim Accra beaches tolerate dogs at off-peak hours, but none of that is confirmed by management. Arrive early, keep the dog leashed, and expect to be kept off the cabana and dining decks.
The pet policy above is summarised from the venue’s own published information and cross-checked against public listings. Last checked: against the source on . Policies change without notice anyway, so confirm the current one with the venue before you travel, and keep your dog leashed anywhere that is not a signed off-leash area. Read the full disclaimer.
