Parks · Santa Fe (Chapinero edge)
A 1930s park of brick paths, tall trees and monuments between Calles 36 and 39, on the Chapinero edge of downtown. Shaded, steep in places and full of students, it makes a good hot-weather walk.
Official rules explicitly allow dogs and even address reactive ones, which most park pages avoid.
IDRD requires dogs on a lead or long line, never left unsupervised, and recommends a muzzle for dogs with temperament problems. Hours are 6:00–18:00 and entry is free. Some paths are steep and the upper forest reserve is not dog-walking terrain.
The pet policy above is summarised from the venue’s own published information and cross-checked against public listings. Last checked: against the source on . Policies change without notice anyway, so confirm the current one with the venue before you travel, and keep your dog leashed anywhere that is not a signed off-leash area. Read the full disclaimer.
