Parks · Teusaquillo
Bogotá's 900,000 square metre metropolitan park, with a 10-hectare lake, a 3.1 km running track, cycle paths and its own dog area. It is where the city's dog owners go when they want distance rather than a lap of the block.
The only place in the city where a dog gets a genuinely long walk plus a designated off-leash stop.
IDRD's rules require every companion animal to be on a leash, harness or similar at all times under an adult's control, and owners must pick up waste. The park lists a parque canino among its facilities, so off-leash belongs there rather than on the lawns. Hours are 5:00–18:00 and entry is free; note the adjacent Los Novios sector bans pets outright, so use the main gates.
The pet policy above is summarised from the venue’s own published information and cross-checked against public listings. Last checked: against the source on . Policies change without notice anyway, so confirm the current one with the venue before you travel, and keep your dog leashed anywhere that is not a signed off-leash area. Read the full disclaimer.
