Parks · Miraflores
Miraflores' central plaza, ringed by cafes and known for the dozens of abandoned cats fed and rehomed there. It is a shady, pleasant square, but it is run as a cat sanctuary first.
Listed honestly: it is the park every visitor asks about, and the answer is that dogs are tolerated, not welcomed.
A municipal brigadista quoted on the district site says plainly that the park is not a place for dogs, and staff keep canines away from the cats. District rules still require a leash, but there is no fenced dog area, so treat it as a short on-leash pass-through. For real running space use the malecón or a Diverticán.
The pet policy above is summarised from the venue’s own published information and cross-checked against public listings. Last checked: against the source on . Policies change without notice anyway, so confirm the current one with the venue before you travel, and keep your dog leashed anywhere that is not a signed off-leash area. Read the full disclaimer.
