Parks · Saitozaki, Higashi Ward
A roughly 5,000-square-meter dog run inside Uminonakamichi Seaside Park on a peninsula in Hakata Bay, divided into a free area for all dogs, a small-dog area for dogs up to 40 cm, and a leashed relaxation area. It is considered one of the most scenic dog runs in Japan.
Sea breezes, huge fenced space and separate size zones make this the standout off-leash day trip from Fukuoka city.
The dog run costs 60 yen per dog on top of park admission (adults 450 yen). You must carry your dog registration certificate and rabies vaccination certificate to use the run; dogs run free only inside the fenced areas and leashed in the relaxation zone. Closed Dec 31, Jan 1 and maintenance days.
The pet policy above is summarised from the venue’s own published information and cross-checked against public listings. Last checked: against the source on . Policies change without notice anyway, so confirm the current one with the venue before you travel, and keep your dog leashed anywhere that is not a signed off-leash area. Read the full disclaimer.
