Parc de l'Estació del Nord – Dog Recreation Area

FreeOff-leash permitted

A fenced dog recreation area of nearly 1,400 m2 inside Parc de l'Estació del Nord, the largest off-leash dog enclosure in L'Eixample. It includes paths, sand, a drinking fountain, benches and bins.

Why it made the list

Barcelona's biggest Eixample off-leash space, run and maintained by the city council.

Good to know before you go

Barcelona City Council's park page lists an 'Espai per a gossos deslligats' (off-leash dog area) at this park; the council's announcement confirms the area is fenced, has a drinking fountain and allows dogs to run, play and interact off-leash within it.

Practical notes

  • Dogs must remain leashed in the rest of the park outside the fenced area.
  • Bring water anyway in summer — the fountain helps but queues occur.

What is available on site

  • Off-leash area
  • Fenced
  • Water bowls
  • Shaded seating
  • Step-free access

House rules and verification

The pet policy above is summarised from the venue’s own published information and cross-checked against public listings. Last checked: the official page blocked our automated re-check on 31 October 2026, so this listing was last confirmed earlier. Policies change without notice anyway, so confirm the current one with the venue before you travel, and keep your dog leashed anywhere that is not a signed off-leash area. Read the full disclaimer.
