Free·Off-leash permitted
A harbourside hilltop park above The Rocks with fig trees, lawns and views over Sydney Harbour, managed by the City of Sydney. It is one of the City's more than 45 designated off-leash dog areas.

Good to know before you go
The City of Sydney lists Observatory Hill Park among its designated off-leash areas, where dogs may exercise off-leash under effective control; the City notes some areas are subject to time restrictions or apply only to sections, so read the signs at the park entrances. Owners must carry and use waste bags, provided in the City's off-leash parks.
Practical notes
Check the entrance signage for any section-specific off-leash conditions
Combine with a leashed walk down to the harbour foreshore
