Pet-friendly stays · Westlands
Hyatt House Nairobi Westlands
$$$ · Upscale·Leashed only
An apartment-style extended-stay hotel in Westlands with kitchen-equipped suites, a rooftop pool, free breakfast and a 24-hour gym. It suits longer stays and people travelling with a car.
Why it made the list
It has one of the few written, priced pet policies in Nairobi, so you are not negotiating at the desk with a tired dog in the lobby.
Good to know before you go
Hyatt's policy welcomes dogs for USD 30 on the first night, USD 10 per pet per night for nights two to seven, then a USD 100 deep-cleaning fee after seven nights; one dog up to 25 kg, or two dogs up to 35 kg combined. Dogs must be leashed in public areas and cannot be left unattended in the room. Source: hyatt.com hotel policies page, checked October 2026.

House rules and verification
The pet policy above is summarised from the venue’s own published information and cross-checked against public listings. Last checked: the official page blocked our automated re-check on 31 October 2026, so this listing was last confirmed earlier. Policies change without notice anyway, so confirm the current one with the venue before you travel, and keep your dog leashed anywhere that is not a signed off-leash area. Read the full disclaimer.
