Hamburg's central 148-hectare people's park with a lake, rose garden, planetarium, meadows and wide paths. Dogs are welcome on leash throughout, with a fenced Hundeauslaufzone (off-leash run) near the Planetarium where free running is legal.

Per the park's official rules, dogs are allowed but must be kept on a leash; Hamburg city law requires a leash of max 2 m in public spaces except within official Hundeauslaufzonen. Off-leash is legal only inside the fenced dog run (or for dogs that have passed Hamburg's obedience test). The swimming lake excludes dogs.
