Fremont Brewing Urban Beer Garden

$$ · ModerateLeashed only

The flagship beer garden of Fremont Brewing, a family-owned Seattle brewery founded in 2009. Open-air picnic seating plus covered, heated outdoor tables and some indoor space, pouring house beers, cider and rotating guest taps. Free pretzels, and food trucks park on site.

Why it made the list

One of Seattle's most reliably dog-friendly breweries — the venue itself says kids and pets are always welcome — and it is a short walk from Gas Works Park.

Good to know before you go

Dogs are welcome indoors and out; the brewery's own site states that kids and pets are always welcome. Covered, heated outdoor seating keeps it usable through the wet months. Washington's food code requires dogs to be leashed and off the tables and chairs, and staff cannot wash dog dishes, so bring a bowl. Details come from the brewery's own site.

Practical notes

  • Keep the dog leashed and off the picnic benches.
  • Pair a pint with the walk to Gas Works Park a few minutes away.

House rules and verification

The pet policy above is summarised from the venue’s own published information and cross-checked against public listings. Policies change without notice anyway, so confirm the current one with the venue before you travel, and keep your dog leashed anywhere that is not a signed off-leash area. Read the full disclaimer.
