Fælledparken
Free·Off-leash permitted
Copenhagen's second-largest park, created between 1908 and 1914 as a park 'for the people', with lawns, a lake, gardens and the city's largest skatepark. It features designated dog areas where pets and owners can socialize, including a popular fenced off-leash zone.
Why it made the list
The social heart of Copenhagen dog life — a big open commons where your pup can make a whole circle of friends.
Good to know before you go
VisitCopenhagen's official page notes 'there are dog areas where both pets and owners can socialize'. Under Copenhagen rules dogs must be leashed except in designated hundeluftningsområder (off-leash areas); Denmark's Hundeloven bans 13 breeds, and waste bags are required with fines around DKK 1,000. Hours were not published in the material reviewed.
