Nimb is a 38-room boutique hotel overlooking Tivoli Gardens, right beside Copenhagen Central Station. It has a rooftop pool and terrace, a spa with a Moroccan hammam, and several restaurants and bars, and is one of the Danish capital's best-known luxury addresses. All floors, including the roof terrace, are served by a lift.

Why it made the list

Its pages devote a full section to dogs, offering a dog bed, a welcome hamper and even a walking service, which is far more thorough than most city-centre hotels manage.

Good to know before you go

Nimb's guest pages state: 'Dogs are of course welcome,' with a charge of DKK 1,100 per stay covering a dog basket, a hamper with a toy and waste bags, bowls, mineral water, dog food, a turndown treat and an end-of-stay deep clean. Dogs are not allowed in Nimb's restaurants or in Tivoli Gardens. The pages checked publish no set opening hours; details from the Nimb website; confidence high.

Practical notes

  • Add the dog package when you reserve so the bed, bowls and treats are in the room before arrival.
  • Tivoli Gardens next door does not admit dogs, so plan walks around the nearby lakes or the harbour instead.

House rules and verification

The pet policy above is summarised from the venue’s own published information and cross-checked against public listings. Policies change without notice anyway, so confirm the current one with the venue before you travel, and keep your dog leashed anywhere that is not a signed off-leash area. Read the full disclaimer.
