Dog Fancier's Park

FreeOff-leash permitted

A Clark County park next to Horseman's Park with five totally enclosed dog areas on roughly 20 acres, one of the largest dedicated dog facilities in the Las Vegas Valley. Area 5 is kept open for public use daily, while Areas 1-4 can be reserved for dog events and group play. The county's park police enforce leash laws outside designated off-leash areas.

Why it made the list

Twenty acres of fully enclosed runs gives even high-energy dogs room to sprint, and the reservable areas make it the go-to spot for dog clubs and playgroups.

Good to know before you go

Clark County dog parks are open daily 6 am-11 pm; dogs must be leashed and under control in county parks except in designated dog park areas, and off-leash violations outside them carry a $250 fine. Reservable areas have hourly fees. Source: clarkcountynv.gov.

Practical notes

  • Use Area 5 if you just want to drop in - no reservation needed.
  • The park sits on bare desert ground, so check paw pads on hot days.
