A hidden rooftop cafe above Verve Shops Mont Kiara serving all-day brunch and coffee on an open-air terrace. Its site proudly notes that unlike most Malaysian venues, well-behaved pets are welcome inside and out — only 'naughty ones' get sent to the three-table outdoor section.

A landscaped public park built around a man-made lake in the Desa ParkCity township, with tree-lined jogging and walking loops of 1 km to 2.3 km. It is one of the few Kuala Lumpur parks where the developer openly welcomes dogs, provided they are kept on a lead and owners clean up after them.
