Ketawa Pet Friendly Hotel and Cafe

$$ · ModerateLeashed, off-leash zone on site

A hotel beside the Ping River, a short walk from Warorot Market, that openly welcomes dogs and cats as guests and runs a pet-focused cafe on site. Alongside standard hotel rooms it offers a dog hotel, day care, a pet swimming pool, bathing and a small pet shop.

Why it made the list

One of very few Chiang Mai hotels built around pets rather than merely tolerating them, with dedicated dog rooms, a pool and grooming all under one roof.

Good to know before you go

Confirmed on the hotel's own website, which states that guests' four-legged friends are "much valued guests", and its Dog Hotel page says overnight stays are offered for dogs of all breeds and sizes. Boarding is charged by size, from 450 baht a night for dogs up to 5 kg to 750 baht for those over 20 kg. The site publishes no general opening hours, so none are given. Confidence: high.

Practical notes

  • Book pet rooms and any dog-hotel or grooming slot in advance; the on-site care centre requires a prior booking.
  • Warorot Market and the riverside restaurants are within walking distance, but walk dogs before 10:00 or after 17:00 to avoid hot pavement.

What is available on site

  • Dogs indoors
  • Overnight stays
  • Dog wash
  • Swim access

House rules and verification

The pet policy above is summarised from the venue’s own published information and cross-checked against public listings. Policies change without notice anyway, so confirm the current one with the venue before you travel, and keep your dog leashed anywhere that is not a signed off-leash area. Read the full disclaimer.
