A huge ecopark of Andean forest, trails and a lake above the city, reached by the Line L cable car from Santo Domingo. Cool, quiet and a full-day contrast to the valley heat.

Pet-friendly stays · El Poblado
A 78-room boutique hotel on the high side of El Poblado, with La Makha restaurant and the Etro rooftop bar on the 16th floor. Design-led, quiet at night and a few minutes' walk from Provenza.
The most detailed pet policy I found in either city, published on the hotel's own site rather than buried in a booking engine.
Binn's official FAQ accepts one pet per room, dog or cat, with no weight or size limit, for COP 250,000 per stay, including specialised disinfection and a loan kit with bed and food/water bowls. You must bring an up-to-date vaccination record including rabies, and dogs of breeds classed as potentially dangerous under Colombian Law 746 of 2002 are not accepted. Source: binnhotel.com FAQ.
The pet policy above is summarised from the venue’s own published information and cross-checked against public listings. Last checked: against the source on . Policies change without notice anyway, so confirm the current one with the venue before you travel, and keep your dog leashed anywhere that is not a signed off-leash area. Read the full disclaimer.

No photo yetA large open-air shopping park terraced into the hillside above El Poblado, with shops, cinemas, restaurants and planted walkways. It functions as a rain-proof walking route as much as a mall.
No photo yetA modern 4-star hotel built into the El Tesoro shopping park, with an infinity pool, spa and direct access to the mall. Rooms are compact but the mountain views and free parking make it a practical base.
