A 197-room design hotel on the Puerto Madero docks, with balconies over the canal, a spa, the Red Resto and Lounge and the open-air White Bar terrace. It is a modern, walkable base a short hop from Plaza de Mayo.
Why it made the list
Its FAQ answers the pet question in plain terms - a weight limit, a warning that not every room category takes dogs, and a request to call first.
Good to know before you go
The hotel's own FAQ states: 'We welcome dogs weighing up to 8 kg (17.5 lbs). Please contact us before booking to learn about our current pet policy. Pet-friendly accommodations are not available in all room categories.' So large dogs are out, the fee is not published, and the room must be confirmed by phone or email. Confidence: high.
Practical notes
Ring or email before booking - pet rooms are limited to some categories and the 8 kg cap is firm.
The docks and the Costanera path are steps away for early and late toilet walks.

House rules and verification
The pet policy above is summarised from the venue’s own published information and cross-checked against public listings. Last checked: against the source on . Policies change without notice anyway, so confirm the current one with the venue before you travel, and keep your dog leashed anywhere that is not a signed off-leash area. Read the full disclaimer.
The city's largest green space: 370 hectares of woods, four lakes and 29 separate plazas, wrapped around the Rosedal, the Planetarium and the Japanese Garden. The free-access plazas and promenades make up most of the park; the golf course, Japanese Garden and museums are ticketed or restricted.
A premium outlet built into the old railway land under the Mitre viaduct, where brick arches frame outdoor walkways, pergolas and terraces rather than an enclosed mall. Common areas are almost entirely open air, with cafés and food stops mixed among the outlet units.
A gin-and-tapas bar with a large planted terrace beside the National Library, where the greenery screens out most of the city. It is a sunset-and-cocktails kind of place rather than a quick stop.
