Rotterdam-Zuid's vast recreational park — the largest in the Netherlands by area — with woods, meadows, water and the fenced 'Hondeneiland' dog island.
Its dedicated fenced off-leash dog island is the best socialising spot for dogs south of the river.
Dogs are leashed in the wider park but run free on the fenced Hondeneiland; the city's dog-zone map lists the off-leash areas (rotterdam.nl). Hours were not published in the material reviewed.
The pet policy above is summarised from the venue’s own published information and cross-checked against public listings. Last checked: against the source on . Policies change without notice anyway, so confirm the current one with the venue before you travel, and keep your dog leashed anywhere that is not a signed off-leash area. Read the full disclaimer.
