West Kowloon Art Park
Free·Leashed, off-leash zone on site
The Art Park is the 23-hectare waterfront open space at the heart of the West Kowloon Cultural District, with broad lawns, a harbourfront promenade and views of Victoria Harbour. It sits beside M+ and the Hong Kong Palace Museum, and includes a fenced pet area.
Why it made the list
The district's by-law expressly welcomes leashed pets across the park, and it also provides a fenced Pet Club for off-leash exercise for dogs near the waterfront.
Good to know before you go
West Kowloon's published by-law states that pets are welcome at the Art Park provided they are leashed or otherwise kept under control, and the district also runs the fenced WestK Pet Club for off-leash exercise. Both the Art Park and WestK Pet Club open daily from 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM, though parts may close for events. Source: westkowloon.hk; confidence is high.
Practical notes
- Keep your dog leashed on the open lawns, as the by-law requires control.
- Check the park's closure notices, as sections are sometimes fenced off for events.

House rules and verification
The pet policy above is summarised from the venue’s own published information and cross-checked against public listings. Policies change without notice anyway, so confirm the current one with the venue before you travel, and keep your dog leashed anywhere that is not a signed off-leash area. Read the full disclaimer.
