Seoul World Cup Park Dog Playground

FreeOff-leash permitted

One of three off-leash pet playgrounds run by the Seoul Metropolitan Government, inside World Cup Park beside the World Cup Stadium. The fenced area has drinking fountains, tables and benches where registered dogs can run off-lead, and it sits next to Haneul Park.

Why it made the list

A free, fenced, 24-hour off-leash space in Seoul, and the flagship of the city's public dog parks.

Good to know before you go

Entry is free, but only dogs registered with the city may enter, and an adult owner must stay with the dog. A lead and waste bags must be carried and used when entering and leaving; no food, human or dog, and no smoking inside; aggressive, sick or rutting dogs are excluded. The city says the World Cup Park and Boramae playgrounds now open year-round, with closures for heat, cold and fine-dust advisories.

Practical notes

  • Bring the dog's registration and microchip details.
  • Avoid peak weekend afternoons if your dog dislikes crowds.

House rules and verification

The pet policy above is summarised from the venue’s own published information and cross-checked against public listings. Policies change without notice anyway, so confirm the current one with the venue before you travel, and keep your dog leashed anywhere that is not a signed off-leash area. Read the full disclaimer.
