Free·Leashed, off-leash zone on site
A vast 70-hectare central Warsaw park of meadows, tree clusters, a lake and sports fields, renewed at the end of 2023. It is celebrated by dog owners for the absence of restrictions on walking pets across most of its area. The Lolek grill & bar restaurant and mobile cafés sit inside the park.
Why it made the list
One of Warsaw's largest leash-free-friendly green spaces, right in the city, with a lake and picnic lawns.
Good to know before you go
Open year-round and free; dogs may be walked off-leash across much of the park, which locals treat as a de facto off-leash zone, though posted zones must be respected. Barbecuing is allowed without open fire.
Practical notes
Enter near the National Library for the quietest lawns
Visit the Lolek beer garden after the walk

A barbecue pub set right in the middle of Pole Mokotowskie park with a huge garden, an outdoor barbecue pit and self-service Polish grills. Reviewers repeatedly note it is full of kids and dogs at lunchtime - a genuinely pet-friendly park venue.
Landscaped riverside promenades on both banks of the Vistula in central Warsaw, connecting Copernicus Science Centre, the Old Town footbridge and beach areas. They are described as perfect for a scenic leashed walk with a dog, with stretches near the water where dogs can play in the off-season.
