Parks · Vitacura
A 27-hectare riverside park along the Mapocho with two lagoons, black-necked swans, native trees and long paved loops. It is the most polished big park in eastern Santiago and the default weekend walk for Vitacura dog owners.
One of the few Santiago parks with an official fenced dog zone plus written dog rules published by the municipality.
Vitacura's park rules say your pet is welcome but Chilean law bans walking a dog without a leash in public spaces, and dogs are barred from playgrounds. The fenced 920 m2 dog area has agility equipment, a dedicated dog fountain, benches and shade; potentially dangerous breeds must wear a muzzle. Source: vitacura.cl official park page.
The pet policy above is summarised from the venue’s own published information and cross-checked against public listings. Last checked: against the source on . Policies change without notice anyway, so confirm the current one with the venue before you travel, and keep your dog leashed anywhere that is not a signed off-leash area. Read the full disclaimer.
