Parks · North Miami Beach
Florida's largest urban park, with more than fourteen miles of multiuse trail, mangrove waterways and picnic areas where leashed dogs are allowed. It is the closest thing Miami has to a proper trail network without leaving the city.
A state park with real trail mileage and shade, reachable from the city without a long drive.
Dogs must be on a leash of six feet or less, and are not allowed on the small bay beach, in rental cabins or in primitive group camping. Waste pickup is mandatory and entry costs six dollars per vehicle. Details come from Florida State Parks.
The pet policy above is summarised from the venue’s own published information and cross-checked against public listings. Policies change without notice anyway, so confirm the current one with the venue before you travel, and keep your dog leashed anywhere that is not a signed off-leash area. Read the full disclaimer.
