Jurong Lake Gardens (Lakeside Garden Dog Run)
Free·Leashed, off-leash zone on site
Singapore's national gardens in the heartlands, with a 2,200 square metre public dog run in Lakeside Garden near Forest Ramble and the North Carpark. The grass field has mounds as natural obstacles plus washing areas and bins. It was added after public engagement and is free to use.
Why it made the list
A large, free, official off-leash field with washing stations, offering genuine off-leash time rather than a pavement walk.
Good to know before you go
Inside the designated run dogs may run off-lead; everywhere else in the gardens, and on all paths, they must be kept under control on a lead. Bring your own water and waste bags. Access is free during garden hours, and the gardens advise checking for temporary closures before visiting. The gardens publish no single unit address for this part of the site, so the entrance to use is given instead.
Practical notes
- Enter via the North Carpark, turning in from Chinese Garden Road.
- Avoid midday heat — bring water and waste bags.

House rules and verification
The pet policy above is summarised from the venue’s own published information and cross-checked against public listings. Policies change without notice anyway, so confirm the current one with the venue before you travel, and keep your dog leashed anywhere that is not a signed off-leash area. Read the full disclaimer.
