Haulover Park — Bark Park & Dog Beach

Parking $7 – $10Off-leash permitted

Miami-Dade's designated off-leash dog beach sits between lifeguard towers two and three at Haulover, with a separate double-gated Bark Park that splits small dogs under 35 pounds from the large-dog side.

Why it made the list

An officially designated off-leash beach plus a fenced park on the same site, so you can swim the dog and then let it dry off behind a gate.

Good to know before you go

Off-leash applies inside the designated dog beach zone and the Bark Park only, and dogs must be leashed elsewhere. Maximum two dogs per person, no puppies under six months, and waste must be picked up. Parking carries a vehicle fee.

Practical notes

  • The dog beach closes mid-afternoon, so go in the morning.
  • The Bark Park is the fallback when the tide or the timetable is against you.

What is available on site

  • Off-leash area
  • Fenced
  • Swim access
  • Dog wash
  • Shaded seating

House rules and verification

The pet policy above is summarised from the venue’s own published information and cross-checked against public listings. Policies change without notice anyway, so confirm the current one with the venue before you travel, and keep your dog leashed anywhere that is not a signed off-leash area. Read the full disclaimer.
