Dorchester Brewing Company

$$ · ModerateLeashed only

A brewery that runs an official dog programme, DOG-chester. Dogs are welcome on two outdoor levels — the ground-floor patio and the roof deck — with tents up in drizzle. Water, snacks and a dog beer are always available.

Why it made the list

The dog policy is published by the brewery itself rather than left to directory listings, and the roof deck means you are not squeezed onto a pavement.

Good to know before you go

Outdoors only, and the dog programme runs from 1 April to 15 December. Dogs must be leashed and in direct control, never tied to furniture. The taproom is 21+ after 6pm on Fridays and Saturdays.

Practical notes

  • Owners may be asked for licence and rabies proof, so carry it.
  • Tents go up in light rain and the roof deck stays open.

What is available on site

  • Dog menu
  • Water bowls
  • Shaded seating

House rules and verification

The pet policy above is summarised from the venue’s own published information and cross-checked against public listings. Policies change without notice anyway, so confirm the current one with the venue before you travel, and keep your dog leashed anywhere that is not a signed off-leash area. Read the full disclaimer.
