Benjakitti Dog Park
Free·Leashed only
Bangkok's first pet-friendly zone inside a major central park: a fenced dog area of about ten rai beside Benjakitti Forest Park, near Gate 1 on Ratchadaphisek Road. Dogs get a dedicated space while the rest of the park stays pet-free. It is run by the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration and is free.
Why it made the list
The most central, free, officially sanctioned place to bring a dog in Bangkok, with the Asoke interchange on the doorstep.
Good to know before you go
The city's announcement states that dogs must stay on a lead at all times — there is no off-leash permission here — and that owners must carry waste bags and clean up immediately. Users register or check in with security and show proof of registration. Dogs and cats are allowed only in this designated zone, not in the rest of the park. The dog-park hours come from public listings; the authority page lists no hours.
Practical notes
- Register the dog in advance through the city's check-in system.
- Keep the dog leashed and carry waste bags and water.

House rules and verification
The pet policy above is summarised from the venue’s own published information and cross-checked against public listings. Policies change without notice anyway, so confirm the current one with the venue before you travel, and keep your dog leashed anywhere that is not a signed off-leash area. Read the full disclaimer.
