Błonia Meadow
Free·Off-leash permitted
A huge 120-acre open meadow adjoining the Old Town, one of Europe's largest urban grasslands and a Krakow institution for recreation. It is called the best place in the city for a dog to run, and one of the few where off-leash exercise is broadly accepted. Locals gather here for frisbee, picnics and dog meetups.
Why it made the list
An enormous open field minutes from the center where your dog can truly sprint and socialize off-leash.
Good to know before you go
Free public meadow, open year-round; off-leash running is a local norm here unlike most Krakow parks. Events are occasionally staged on the meadow - check postings.
Practical notes
